At VK DATA, we work together to turn Global Goals into Everyday Goals. We know how important it is to have clear and sustainable goals, and we therefore strive to have transparent communication with our customers, so that they know that we are trying to make the best choices in relation to the 17 goals.

Of course, we cannot alone achieve good results in our work with socially responsible solutions, therefore we depend on good partnerships with our suppliers, our customers and our employees. Across the company, both in Denmark and in Sri Lanka, we have employees who are passionate and take responsibility in their respective work areas on a daily basis. The sum of the small daily intentions and handlines is what really makes a difference.
At VK DATA, we strive to be as "green" as possible. We do this, among other things, by using sustainable energy, in the form of wind turbines, in the workplace. Even though we have machines that often require a lot of power, we still try to minimize our power consumption. Among other things, we do not use air conditioning to cool our servers in the company.
As a company that lives by digitizing other companies, we try to minimize the consumption of paper and print. All receipts in connection with accounting, sales, support, mail etc. takes place electronically through our ERP system, Odoo.
In the office, we use both recycled IT and office furniture, which we buy through our certified supplier. 80% of the energy that a PC emits during its lifetime comes from the production of the PC itself. That is why we see recycling as a far better alternative than buying new.
Suppliers and customers
Because we at VK DATA are so committed to our CSR policy, we also expect something from our suppliers and customers.
We collaborate daily with suppliers and business partners around the world, and therefore make demands on the suppliers' CSR policy.
Among other things, we expect our suppliers to respect the environment and human rights. We also expect the supplier to focus on its own environmental and occupational health and safety policies.

At VK DATA there is room for everyone, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, etc.
Like many other companies in the IT industry, it is predominantly men who apply for positions with us. However, we attach great importance to encouraging everyone, regardless of gender, to apply for work at hos, regardless of whether it is an advertised position, internship, students or unsolicited applications. We always assess applicants on individual qualifications.
We also help young people, as well as adults, with internships and student places. We make use of both IT students, administration students and company interns, and as far as possible, we subsequently employ our students or interns.
We are very proud to be a spacious company with room for everyone. We also know that everyone in the company helps lift VK DATA towards new heights and growth.
We respect the protection of internationally declared human rights and recognize the right to collective bargaining. We encourage our employees to take responsibility for the development and spread of environmentally friendly technologies.

Physical and mental health
Our most important resources are our employees. We have therefore taken several measures with a focus on overall health and well-being in the workplace, including setting aside time for a daily walk & talk, all employees have raise/lower tables, as well as ergonomic chairs and we have agreements that give our employees access to cheaper physiotherapy, massage and Nada. In addition, all employees naturally receive a decent salary, pension savings and PFA health insurance.
